VANCOUVER -- Dru Brown came in and ignited the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' offence as they scored 31 unanswered points to defeat the BC Lions 34-10 and clinch a postseason berth.

Zach Collaros left the game after a late hit in the final minutes of the third quarter, and Brown took the reins and never let go. The Blue Bombers' backup quarterback instantly connected for a 51-yard strike to Dorian Singer before connecting with him three plays later for a 30-yard touchdown to tie the game. Brown had 185 passing yards and two touchdown passes in the contest. Who will the Bombers start in their postseason game next week?

The BC Lions rested a majority of their offensive starters, but after getting shredded by the legs of Kaidon Salter in Week 9, the Blue Bombers' defence was prepared this week. They held Salter, who was starting over Nathan Rourke with the Lions playoff position locked in, to 11 yards rushing after a 160-yard explosion in their Week 9 matchup. The Leos' signal caller was also held to 177 yards passing in his three quarters of work.

CFL.ca brings you three key stats that defined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' 34-10 win over the BC Lions in Week 21.

149 - BRADY OLIVEIRA RUSHING YARDS

Brady Oliveira ripped off a 63-yard touchdown run on the first offensive play of the fourth quarter for the Bombers. Dru Brown's pass attack opened up the offence, and Oliveira took full advantage, logging 106 of his 149 yards after Brown entered the game, with eight of his 15 carries coming after the quarterback change. Oliveira hit pay dirt twice in the fourth quarter, as the Bombers got 31 unanswered points.

100 - DRU BROWN'S COMPLETION PERCENTAGE

Dru Brown entered the game with about three minutes left in the third quarter after starting quarterback, Zach Collaros, got stung by a late hit and left the game. Brown wasted no time kickstarting the offence as his first pass was a 51-yard dart to Dorian Singer. The backup signal caller went three-for-three on his first drive for 90 yards and a 30-yard touchdown throw to Singer. The Bombers' continued to ride the hot hand and were not let down as Brown added eight more completions, another touchdown pass, and 95 more passing yards, finishing the night 11-for-11 with two touchdown passes and 185 passing yards.

0 - SECOND HALF POINTS ALLOWED

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers held the Lions offence to zero points in the second half for the second week in a row after the Leos were blanked by the Calgary Stampeders in the second half in their Week 20 matchup. The Bombers defence had a rough start to their night, as Kaidon Salter led the Lions down the field in three plays for a first drive touchdown. After that the Bombers defence held the Lions to just three points, none of which came in the final two frames.
