The Ticats' defence scored points off of turnovers while Marc Liegghio's leg was leaned on to put up points in a 35-22 win.

13 - HAMILTON POINTS OFF OF TURNOVERS
The turning point in Saturday's contest came in the second quarter when Hamilton's defence came up with three straight turnovers, scoring 10 points in that span. Ottawa's Bryson Barnes turned it over on downs when he was stuffed by Philip Ossai on a short-yard rush attempt. Stavros Katsantonis and then Wynton McManis then picked off Barnes, with a touchdown coming off of the McManis interception.
Kalil Pimpleton fumbled away a kickoff return early in the third quarter with Ante Milanovic-Litre making the recovery, leading to three more points for the home team.
7 - MARC LIEGGHIO FIELD GOALS
Liegghio was perfect with his seven field goal attempts, making five of those in the first half to give Hamilton a 22-9 advantage at halftime.
The Ticats' offence only brought three possessions into the red zone, so Liegghio was called on from distance to finish off numerous drives. His longest kick of the day was a 53-yard kick at the end of the first half.
82 - LARRY ROUNTREE III RUSHING YARDS
Running back Larry Rountree III gave Hamilton's offence a strong ground-game presence on Saturday, rushing for 82 yards on 15 attempts.
He was especially effective early in the ball game, producing a 19-yard run on Hamilton's opening scoring drive and then setting up Liegghio's second make with a 20-yard rush. Rountree III also registered Hamilton's second touchdown of the day on a five-yard pass from Tre Ford.
