MONTREAL -- The Montreal Alouettes' offence proved too much for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to handle as the home team got the win 37-10 on Saturday night at Percival Molson Stadium.

With the win, the Alouettes clinched first place in the East Division, giving Montreal a bye and home-field advantage for the Eastern Final.

3 - TYSON PHILPOT RECORDS

It was a record-setting night for Canadian wideout Tyson Philpot, setting three different new historic marks all in one night after an 11-catch and 207-yard performance.

First, a dazzling deep shot from Davis Alexander to Philpot marked the wideout's 113th catch, setting the Alouettes' single-season record, while also setting a new record for the most receiving yards by a Canadian in a single season at 1,663.

Later in the game, the Delta, B.C. native also set the record for the most catches by a Canadian in a single season at 117.

It's been a dominant year for the 26-year-old, and there are still three more games remaining on the schedule for Philpot to pad the stats and set even more records.

440 - DAVIS ALEXANDER PASSING YARDS

It was a phenomenal day for Montreal's offence, and a large part of that success was thanks to Most Outstanding Player favourite Davis Alexander.

The 27-year-old came up just one yard shy of tying a career-high in passing yards as he finished with 440. Alexander also added one touchdown, didn't throw an interception, and completed 30-of-40 pass attempts in the win.

40:38 - MONTREAL ALOUETTES TIME OF POSSESSION

It was a dominant win for Montreal over Winnipeg, and multiple team stats showed just that.

The Alouettes had over 20 more minutes of time of possession (40:38-19:22), 30 more first downs (36-6), and nearly 400 more yards of net offence (548-182). Montreal had multiple long drives that worked down Winnipeg's defence, as their offence proved to be too much for the Blue Bombers to handle.
